This is an automated analysis to count levels of white blood cells during nonclinical or clinical research studies. Please contact us for site-specific details in regards to research model capabilities. The white blood cell (WBC) count is included as part of the standard panel for analysis.
White blood cells originate in the bone marrow but circulate throughout the bloodstream. Five major types of white blood cells make up the blood count: neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, monocytes and basophils.
