OECD 487: Cell micronucleus test (in vitro mammalian)
的体外Micronucleus Test investigates genotoxic damage by detection of micronuclei in the cytoplasm of interphase cells. Micronuclei may be the result of aneugenic (whole chromosome) or clastogenic (chromosome breakage) damage; therefore, this test provides a comprehensive basis for investigating chromosome damaging potential in vitro. Further analysis can provide distinction between aneugenic and clastogenic events by using anti-kinetochore antibodies or fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) with pan-centromeric DNA probes.
