Meso scale discovery (MSD) in vitro assay
Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) in vitro assays provide a rapid method for detecting the levels of targets within single, ultralow-volume samples. Often compared to ELISA assays, MSD assays conveniently have increased capture capacity, heightened sensitivity and wider dynamic range. MSD assays also have multiplex capability, so can also analyze ≤ 10 antigens per well. MSD has revolutionized immunoassay technology, using electrochemiluminescence detection to identify targets such as cytokines or SULFO-TAG™-labeled antibodies located near the electrode on the system.
